Our mission is simple: make sunscreen impossible to forget. By placing dispensers where people live, work, and play, we turn sun protection into a habit; not an afterthought. Because 1 in 5 people will develop skin cancer before the age of 75. Because five sunburns can double your risk of melanoma. Because prevention starts with access.

Closing the gap between prevention and sustainability means rethinking everything, from how we design to how we reuse.
At Sundo, we embed circular thinking and sustainability into every stage of our process. How? We apply the full spectrum of R-strategies.
Our circular strategy follows the full R-framework—from refusing waste to recovering value. Here’s what that looks like in practice:
Refuse: By offering sunscreen in shared public dispensers, we reduce the need for individual tubes and sachets—cutting down on plastic waste at scale.
Rethink: We’ve reimagined how sun protection is distributed: modular, scalable, and built for public use. Our designs prioritize easy maintenance, upgradability, and long-term usability. Even older models stay functional through software updates.
Reduce: Our dispensers are solar-powered and built with 30% less material thanks to a lightweight but durable metal housing. A dual-layer coating extends product lifespan even further.
Reuse & Refurbish: After each summer season, every unit is inspected, cleaned, and refurbished for reuse. Internal components are reused up to 80%, packaging is recovered, and nothing goes to waste.
Repair & Remanufacture: A modular design means parts can be replaced, upgraded, or repaired—extending the life of each unit.
Repurpose, Recycle & Recover: Components that can’t be reused are redirected for other applications or carefully recycled. In future, we aim to integrate energy recovery to close the loop completely.

We proudly collaborate with OptimaT for the production of our sunscreen dispensers. A social enterprise that provides meaningful employment opportunities to individuals facing barriers to the traditional job market.
